NEWance Participates in LOOP PLUS, Korea’s Only Media Art Fair

Building on the legacy of LOOP Barcelona, LOOP PLUS has established itself as a hub for the Asian media art market and returns to Busan this year. Following its successful debut under the name “Loop Lab Busan,” the fair will take place from April 23 to 26 at the Grand Josun Busan Hotel. As Korea’s only media art–focused art fair, it presents a distinguished lineup of international galleries and high-quality programs, offering a unique opportunity to experience the forefront of contemporary art where technology and artistic practice intersect.

This year, NEWance participates in LOOP PLUS, engaging audiences through its reinterpretation of artistic originality with digital media and its exploration of new sculptural nuances through technological convergence. At the NEWance booth, visitors can explore the brand’s vision and trajectory through its exhibition series and public art projects, including media sculpture works.

A special presentation will highlight the <PIXEL BIT> series by Paul C., selected as NEWance’s featured artist of the year. NEWance remains open to collaboration with visionary artists and welcomes interest and participation from artists and institutional partners seeking to engage in dynamic creative practices.

The Pixel Bit created by the artist functions as a sculptural unit, responding solely to the energy of natural light without the need for any external power supply, endlessly repeating cycles of zero and one, illumination and e xtinction.

Hundreds of interwoven and intersecting modules visualize continuity and unique rhythms within the disorder of nature. These patterns embody the grammar of light produced at the intersection of nature and code, forming a living system, a poetics of memory and motion.
